Three Weeks Early

Yet WIDE AWAKE for the whole photo shoot! Aren't little week-old babies supposed to sleep more than that? This one was only 5 lbs 9 ounces a week ago.

In any case, I had so much fun with this little guy. I think this photo is my favorite:

His Grandma is Guatemalan, so we were able to incorporate some of the textures and patterns of his heritage in the shoot:

(I think this is my second favorite:)
His mother is a friend of mine. She absolutely glows when she looks at him.
It's great to see her so happy:

Cutest Newborn Ever {Utah County Newborn Photography}

It was so much fun to spend an hour with this little 2-week-old this morning. She made me long to meet my own new little girl -- I've only got about six weeks left!

I love little baby feet!
Her big sister wanted to know what was going on and is so gentle with her. Her little two-year-old hand next to her sister's was so sweet:
Look at this perfect face!

Just a few more of these boys

I'm having so much fun as a photographer. While I love getting that "perfect shot" -- you know, the one that gets printed and put on the wall -- I think I have the most fun getting shots like these:

Four Adorable Boys! {Utah County Family Photographer}

For Natalie -- Adorable One Year Old! {Utah County Portrait Photography}

Isn't this the cutest little guy? His face is so expressive. We got the full range of emotions today, from bemused and annoyed to delighted and excited.

His mother's beautiful, too.

Welcome Spring!

I love having warmer days!
HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!

J Family Photos ~ Utah County Family Photography

This family was so fun to work with! We've been friends since back when our first children were born, but I haven't seen their family in years. The 7 and 8 year olds were so easy to photograph, the 3 year old was a bit more of a challenge. She wasn't too excited about looking at the camera! Katie has some special needs, but it's clear that she's absolutely adored. Her older sisters were so loving and kind to her.
